I am a graduating student at Ball State and I did my summer internship this summer at The Perfect Stitch for my apparel design degree. Before starting my internship I was not very confident in my sewing abilities at all, and I knew I was not ready to start my career yet. Melissa is a true sew-goddess, she taught me more about sewing than my schooling did. She taught me all I wanted to learn and even more. While I was there I constructed a wedding dress, which I am very proud of, and another dress of my design that I just love. I am so grateful that they took me in and taught me, because now I am very confident in my abilities and ready to start my career. Both Melissa and Susan are wonderful, passionate people that care about they do. Melissa can make any dress you can dream of and both are dedicated to getting it done perfectly for the customer. My time spent there was very enjoyable, and I loved every moment of it. Thank you Susan and Melissa for everything!
